Luck’s Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal rescue dedicated to being the lifeline for animals in Dade County, Georgia—a region without an animal shelter, animal control, or basic protections for its stray and abandoned dogs. We have stepped in as the acting animal control, providing critical rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming services for the countless dogs left without care or protection.

Founded and led by a team of passionate women, Luck’s Rescue is a grassroots organization driven by an unwavering commitment to saving lives and advocating for lasting change. Without the safety nets found in many other communities, we work tirelessly to rescue dogs from neglect, abandonment, and dangerous conditions, offering them a second chance at life.

But our mission goes beyond rescue. We are community educators, working to build a future where animals are safe, valued, and treated with compassion. Through spay and neuter initiatives, public education, and advocacy for better local animal welfare policies, we are laying the groundwork for long-term solutions to the challenges facing Dade County’s animals.
