I was notified of 3 litters needing help all within a matter of hours…. We are able to help with 2 of those litters. This is one of them! Say hello to the space crew! They showed up on a man’s property about a week ago with their mother. There was 13 puppies in total. He went around to all his neighbors trying to find the owner and couldn’t. Unfortunately a few days ago the mom and 5 of the puppies disappeared. He could not find them. I will be going out to look for them because it makes me sick knowing they may still be out there. I hate leaving a mother behind and I’ll do everything I can to find her and the other puppies but for now…. These 8 are safe. They will be going to one of our rescue partners in the North. And they will be available for adoption through them. Bruno deserves better. This poor boy has suffered so much. Lucky for him and lucky for us we found Bruno on the side of a busy mountain highway a few weeks ago. Underweight, sick and covered in hundreds of ticks. He is now on his path to a better life and recovering well. We are still fundraising for his heart worm treatment that he will start in a couple weeks. We are accepting adoption applications on him and will be adopting him out as soon as he is healthy enough. Please ADOPT Chewy ❤️🐾 He deserves a loving home! Chewy was in a horrible traumatic accident when he was younger. Most likely hit by a car. His old injuries have healed over and there are no surgeries to correct these preexisting injuries. The vet recommends keeping him on joint and bone supporting supplements for the rest of his life. He will most likely get arthritis in his later years and pain will need to be managed. His chances of being adopted are slim to none because of these pre existing injuries but that didn’t detour me from rescuing him and that shouldn’t detour you from adopting him. This little guy has so much love to give. I need a rescue van you guys.. Here’s why: ⭐️It will be safer for the dogs. ⭐️It will be safer for me. ⭐️It will be cleaner. ⭐️We will be able to cut cost on hiring a third party transport service so then we will be able to send more dogs to our northern partners. ⭐️I will be able to transport more dogs at a time to get spayed and neutered. ⭐️I will be able to do more community out reach, handing out big items like dog houses. ⭐️I will be able to pick up and intake more than 1 dog or a few puppies at a time. ⭐️It will save on fuel costs. ⭐️It look and be more professional. ⭐️THE LIST GOES ON AND ON Mostly it I’ll be a whole lot safer for the dogs and myself. It will be easy to clean and we will be able to send so many more dogs north to our rescue partners in Michigan. I get frustrated daily trying to pick up injured dogs and put them in my truck. I can barely fit a small crate in there. Dogs throw up in my truck and it’s hard to keep clean. My truck is loud and a fuel guzzler. Unpopular opinions but necessary actions. Please don’t give me a hard time for having to make hard decisions. I am flooded with calls every week of 50 or more dogs needing help. I don’t have an animal shelter. I have 5 solid local fosters. I haven’t had an adoption in over a month. Crazy right? Adopt Rex! This guy has healed so much in the time that we had him! With the help of @hicc.pet products, medicine from the vet and some TLC from his foster, he is ready for adoption! Bruno you crossed my path for a reason. The second I saw you I knew you were coming home with me or you would die on that road. Thank you to my friend @lovin.life28 for helping me secure him on the side of that busy mountain highway. We both watched him almost get hit multiple times while cars sped by. Bruno had completely given up and as I started to examine him on the side of the road I knew he had a very rough life. When I took him to the vet my worst fears for hi ere confirmed. He is heartworm positive. He also has a heavy load of intestinal worms and Ehrlichia a disease they get from ticks. We have a very sick boy on our hands. His treatment will be costly and will take a couple months.
